Melody
A puppy-mill survivor who recovered from exploitation and now enjoys freedom, comfort and a loving home.
Before
Melody was rescued from a puppy mill along with five other female dogs who were severely exploited, bred every cycle and discarded when they could no longer produce as many pups as they had initially. Trapped in dilapidated cages in a muddy field, none of the dogs had names they recognised and they were terrified of everything in their environment.
Melody was also pregnant when rescued and gave birth to a single deformed pup that survived only a few days. Melody remained at the hospital receiving treatment for several months, where vets and our team worked on both her physical and emotional health.
After
Once healthy enough, Melody was sterilised, vaccinated and rehomed with a family that loves her every day. She now enjoys the comfort of a spacious and committed home where she can choose her own adventures and take cosy naps whenever she likes.
